About Me

Who is De’Audra?

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, she enjoyed watching the growth of this dynamic city. In college, she studied Bio-Medical Engineering at The University of Texas, San Antonio. Missing her friends, family, and home town, she soon returned to Austin in pursuit of her career in architecture and design, serving in management roles at companies like BranDesign, studioSIX5 and TWIA. From her youth through adulthood, De’Audra has lived in just about every part of Austin. As a result, she’s gained knowledge of many neighborhoods and keeps abreast of what’s going on in different parts of town. De’Audra also has many connections in Austin’s educational system, partnering with a number of schools for her nonprofit mentorship program. De’Audra is a self-proclaimed foodie, having discovered 30+ restaurants and food trucks in a years’ time. She’s also a huge fan of being outdoors, especially enjoying water-related activities. She loves traveling domestically and internationally, believing that travel ignites personal growth through exposure to different cultures. De’Audra’s overall passion is to be kind and help people. She loves to experience new restaurants, and businesses, and hopes to combine her professional experience and knowledge of the city dive into an opportunity in blogging.
